Swimmer Welson out to improve time in Kazan world meet

PETALING JAYA: Newly crowned SEA Games 400m freestyle champion Welson Sim is not going to rest on his laurels.

The 18-year-old believes he can swim faster and has set his sights on bettering his personal bests in the 200m and 400m freestyle – a feat he failed to achieve in Singapore – at the World Championships in Kazan, Russia from July 24-Aug 9.
