Youngster Rahul getting to terms with racing in Formula 4

PETALING JAYA: Young Malaysian driver Rahul Mayer experienced a steep learning curve in the second round of the BRDC Formula 4 Championship as the competitors shared the weekend’s timetable with the popular German DTM series at Brands Hatch.

Rahul arrived full of expectation and confidence to race on the circuit for the first time. Racing with a totally new car since the Silverstone rounds, practice threw some technical gremlins into the mix when Rahul suffered a wiring issue and was left with limited time.
