Moore clinches CIMB Classic with 4ft birdie

KUALA LUMPUR: Ryan Moore picked up his biggest paycheque yet of US$1.26mil (RM4mil) after rolling in a four-foot birdie putt on the first hole of a sudden death playoff to beat fellow American Gary Woodland for the CIMB Classic title at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club Monday morning.

Darkness forced the duo, who finished Sunday tied on 14-under 274, to return early this morning for the playoff starting 7.30am ater the final round was twice delayed by bad weather.
