(Reuters) - Serie A's leading scorer Giuseppe Rossi has suffered a new injury to his troubled right knee although it is not the same as the one which effectively cost him two years of his career, his club Fiorentina said Monday.

Fiorentina said Rossi had suffered a second degree sprain to the medial collateral ligament following a rough tackle during the previous day's 1-0 win over Livorno.
