KUALA LUMPUR: Shuttler Soong Joo Ven has made a promising comeback from a shoulder injury.

Joo Ven, a second stringer in the national men’s singles squad, showed that he is back at his best when he defeated Setyladi of Ampang Jaya BC 11-8, 11-5, 11-8 in 32 minutes to give his team Cheras BC a flying start in the Resorts World Genting Purple League at the Sports Arena Sentosa in Jalan Klang Lama.
