MANAGUA (Reuters) - Five Nicaraguan police officers were killed on Sunday in the south of the country after being attacked by a criminal group trying to free one of its members that had been detained, police said.
Police said they would give more details about the incident, which took place in Punta Gorda in the south of the country on the Caribbean side, on Monday.
