Kiev pulls its forces out of Donetsk airport terminal in east Ukraine

KIEV (Reuters) - A Ukrainian military spokesman said on Thursday Kiev government forces had withdrawn from the new terminal at Donetsk airport east Ukraine, territory over which they have fought fiercely with pro-Russian rebels for months.

"Yesterday the decision was taken to leave the territory of the terminal for new positions," Vladislav Seleznyov said.
