AN annual award for the top honours student from the department of Malay studies at National University of Singapore’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences has been announced, along with its first recipient.
Borne out of a S$15,000 (RM42,000) gift by the Malay Heritage Foundation to NUS, the new MHF prize comprises a S$1,000 (RM2,800) cash award.
