Coloured powder used in run not harmful, say organisers

THE organiser of the Colour Run, an event where runners are doused with coloured powder, has assured the public that it is committed to ensuring the safety of the activity.

This came after an explosion during a “colour party” held at a water park in Taiwan on Saturday, which led to at least one death and seriously hurt more than 200 people.
