Two more senior cops detained over embezzlement in Bukit Aman repair works

KUALA LUMPUR: Two more senior police officers have been arrested in the ongoing investigation into the embezzlement of more than RM1.5mil of funds intended for repair works at Bukit Aman.

Inspector-General of police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said this brought the total number of arrests to nine individuals, including senior police officers and contractors.

"We are still investigating and may make even more arrests.

“We are not hiding anything and will take action according to the law," he said during a press conference at the Police Training Centre (Pulapol) here Saturday.
