Health D-G: Claims typhoid spread by illegal ice factories untrue


KUALA LUMPUR: Claims that the outbreak of typhoid here originated from illegal ice factories are not true, says Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Dr Noor Hisham said this was based on periodical monitoring by the Health Ministry on ice factories, including conducting tests to detect the typhoid virus.
