Plumber cheated out of RM6,020 in ‘forex investment’


KUALA LUMPUR: A plumber thought he was getting into a promising forex investment but it ended up with him being cheated of RM6,020.

Lim Boon Loong, 23, received a text message last month from someone named Thomas, saying that he could earn RM400 per month if he put in RM4,500 as investment in foreign currencies and another RM1,020 as processing fee.
