Hadi: Malays must be guided by their Islamic faith and not fanaticism

SHAH ALAM: Being the most influential community in the country, the Malays must lead the country, but it must be done based on Islamic principles rather than the Malay sentiments, says PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.

Hadi said Islam teaches Malays to be leaders. “So, influential Malays must save the country guided by Islam and not Malay fanaticism,” Abdul Hadi said at the opening of the Peoples Congress here, yesterday.
