GEORGE TOWN: The Government needs to prioritise the excavation of ancient shipwrecks discovered buried at the Sungai Batu Archaeological Site in Kedah, an author has urged.
Datuk V. Nadarajan, 70, a lawyer-writer who authored the book, Bujang Valley: The Wonder That Was Ancient Kedah, suggested that the Tourism and Culture Ministry steps in immediately by getting private and government-linked companies to finance the excavation.
