Police offer reward for info on Najib-Hadi picture stompers

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are offering a reward for information on the individuals who stomped on a picture of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang during the Bersih 4 rally.

City CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Zainuddin Ahmad said in a statement that the monetary reward was for information leading to the arrest of the individuals.

"The individuals have been asked to come forward to assist in investigations but until now they have not done so," he said on Friday.

SAC Zainuddin said police were taking the matter seriously as it had caused tension and unrest among the people and action had to be taken to ensure that such matters do not trigger any reaction.
