Jeyakumar, several PSM leaders arrested in Ipoh over land protest


The farmers were arrested after failing to disperse following instructions from police.

IPOH: Sungai Siput MP Dr Michael Jeyakumar Devaraj, several other Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) leaders as well as a number of farmers were arrested after failing to disperse following instructions from police.

Among the other PSM leaders arrested outside the state secretariat building here were party secretary-general S. Arutchelvan, national deputy chairman M. Saras and party coordinator K. Kunasekaran.
