KUALA LUMPUR: A weak earthquake, measuring 2.6 on the Richter scale, struck Ranau in Sabah at 9.26am Tuesday, according to the Meteorological Department.
It said in a statement that the epicentre of the quake was six degrees North latitude and 116.6 degrees East longitude, 12 kilometres northwest of Ranau town.
