IN a case said to be related to “honour killing”, a 16-year-old student from Polagam village in Nagapattinam, about 75km from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, had her throat slit by her father.
Malaysia Nanban reported that Ranjitha was having an affair with a 30-year-old man from the same village, something that her father was vehemently opposed to.
