KUALA LUMPUR: A Swiss cyclist survived a plunge down a ravine in Bukit Kiara.

Resort security guards said the man, in his 30s, suffered only a broken leg.

They said he was cycling with a friend down a hill at about 9am yesterday when he lost control of his bicycle and tumbled down.

The guards said the cycling track had become slippery after a downpour on Saturday night.

Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Azlee Abdullah said several cyclists rushed to help the unfortunate Swiss.

“They were halfway getting him out of the ravine when Fire and Rescue Department personnel arrived to pull him out. They also got his bicycle out,” he added.

He was brought to the KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital.
