BANGKOK: A developing country like Malaysia, with a large youth population, can benefit economically by investing heavily in the education, health and well-being of the young and ensuring their rights are protected, says a United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) report.
Launched globally, the State of the World Population Report 2014 was released by the UNFPA at the Asian and Pacific Conference on Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment: Beijing +20 Review here yesterday.
