MH370: Couple plead not guilty to making fraudulent withdrawals


KUALA LUMPUR: A couple claimed have trial at the Sessions Court to multiple charges in relation to making illegal withdrawals from the bank accounts of passengers on board missing Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH370.

Former bank officer Nur Shila Kanan and her husband Basheer Ahmad Maula Sahul Hameed are accused of making illegal transfers and withdrawals from bank accounts amounting to RM110,643.

Sessions Court judge Mat Ghani Abdullah allowed a joint trial and set bail at RM12,000 with one surety.
