Woman attempts to slice off penis of husband seeking divorce

KUALA LUMPUR: Furious that her husband wanted to divorce her, a Myanmar woman attempted to slice off his penis at his house in Taman Wilayah, Selayang, here Monday morning.

In the 11am incident, the 40-year-old woman, who was living separately, had gone to her husband's house to discuss the matter.

Sentul police chief, ACP R. Munusamy said the husband, also a Myanmar national, let her in and lay down in the living room and fell asleep, when she went after his penis with a knife.

 "The victim, 40, felt a pain in his private parts and was shocked to see blood oozing from there.

"He saw his wife wielding a knife and ran out of the house. Neighbours rushed him to the hospital and doctors managed to repair the damage," he said.

Munusamy said the man was in stable condition and that police had launched a manhunt for the wife. - Bernama
