Kangar-bound express bus lands in drain

BUTTERWORTH: An express bus from Malacca skidded and landed inside a drain at Jalan Baru near here.

The bus, with eight passengers, was on its way to Kangar, Perlis, when the incident occurred at 5am on Thursday.

The passengers and driver sustained minor injuries and received outpatient treatment.

Several people who were at a nearby restaurant rushed to the scene and helped the passengers out of the bus.
