Court upholds torture victim's award


PUTRAJAYA: The Government and police have been ordered to pay more than RM300,000 to a lorry driver who was tortured during interrogation.

Court of Appeal judge Justice Zaharah Ibrahim, who chaired a three-man panel, affirmed the award given to B. Prabakar, 33.
