PETALING JAYA: Resigning from one’s post as an elected representative is “not a good reason” to hold a by-election as a Yang Berhormat should serve out his term, said Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof.
The Election Commission chairman said if there was to be a vacancy, it was usually due to death or because the elected representative is “forced” to vacate the seat.
