SHAH ALAM: A renowned crime buster has assumed the post of state deputy police chief, vowing on his very first day to bring more aggressive efforts to fight crime, especially street crime.
Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Rahim Jaafar (pic) officially assumed the post of state deputy police chief yesterday, taking over from the departing Deputy Comm Datuk A. Thaiveegan, who is bound for Penang.
