JOHOR BARU: Online syndicates are said to be using young foreign women to con prospective victims into giving them money in purported house-buying arrangements.
Besides that, the syndicates also assign people to pose as officials from Bank Negara or staff of courier companies and remittance companies to ask victims to pay “service charges” and “taxes” purportedly needed to get the deal through.
