KUALA LUMPUR: The sale of air cleaners shot up by six and a half times in Malaysia and Singapore as the air quality deteriorated the past few months due to the haze.
More than 20,000 units of air cleaners were sold in both countries in June, causing some major stores to run out of stock for such products, according to research company GfK.
