SENIOR citizens have been warned against falling prey to a “ruby” scam in which they are asked to buy precious stones or “rubies” with magical powers to heal or enchant.
The warning was issued by Terengganu police after it received reports on 11 cases last year, which involved a loss of about RM200,000, reported Kosmo!
