Fashion brand’s grand opening in Sabah a huge success

Official opening: Over 500 people queued patiently before the launch of the H&M outlet at 1 Borneo Hypermall in Kota Kinabalu.

KOTA KINABALU: A man’s passion for H&M (Hennes & Mauritz) clothing saw Tan Boon Leong camping overnight at the 1Borneo Hypermall just to make sure that he would be the first one in line for the opening of Sabah’s first H&M outlet.

The 21-year-old student and a die hard fan of H&M clothing line said he and his two friends had slept on sleeping bags outside the outlet on Wednesday night as they prepared for the next morning’s grand opening.
