New look for spider bridge

AFTER years of failed ideas and plans to revitalise the four-legged Komtar overhead pedestrian bridge in George Town, renovation and upgrading works are finally scheduled to begin.

Penang Municipal Council engineering department deputy director A. Rajendran said the works were expected to start by year-end or early next year.
