MIRI: The senior citizens in Miri have been given official recognition as the “most active” group of senior citizens among all the parliamentary constituencies in Malaysia.
Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim yesterday proudly announced that of all the existing Senior Citizen’s Centres (Pusat Warga Tua) in Sarawak and Malaysia, Miri is the most active and most vibrant in terms of activities and in terms of number of registered members.
