Pressing request: Some of the farmers from Tapah who handed over a memorandum to Dr Zambry after land titles of the area they have been rearing fish and growing fruits and vegetables for nearly 40 years were given to outsiders. With them is Saras (third left).

AFTER nearly 40 years of cultivating a piece of land in Tapah, ten farmers and their families are facing eviction after land titles were issued to several outside individuals to turn the area into an oil palm plantation.

These farmers have been rearing fish and growing vegetables, fruits as well as oil palm since 1975 at the former mining land in Sungai Kroh.
