A first- trial one- hour body massage at this centre costs RM49.90.
A MAJORITY of massage parlours in Desa Sri Hartamas and Plaza Damas in Kuala Lumpur have been found to offer sexual services.
These centres are also regularly visited by VIPs.
A complaint on this received via The Star email had pointed out three such centres in the area, complete with the full address.
While some of the centres are known as “health spa”, others described the business as “massage centre” or “reflexology centre” to lure unsuspecting customers.
The centres are located on Jalan 22a/70a, Jalan 23/70a, Jalan 24/70a, Jalan 25/70a, Jalan 26/70a, Jalan 27/70a, Jalan 28/70a, Jalan 30/70a in Desa Sri Hartamas and one shoplot inside Plaza Damas.
A visit from StarMetro recently revealed that a centre operator in Desa Sri Hartamas, known as Ah Meng, would tell customers that the centre offered only body-to-body (B to B) massage, which meant sex, although the display board stated that what the centre offered was foot and body massages.
When asked how many of such centres were located in Desa Sri Hartamas, Ah Meng revealed that there were more than 20 and three were run by the owner of the centre.
“The boss of this centre only employs Filipina and Thai masseuses who provide massages and the B to B.
“In the other two centres, Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian women provide only sexual services.
“We have many VIP patrons including Tan Sris and Datuks who visit our centre regularly, but we keep our contacts private,’’ said Ah Meng, who claimed that his employer had strong links with the authorities to avoid being caught.
When asked why there were so many of such centres in one particular location, Ah Meng said many wealthy people lived close by in Desa Hartamas and Mont Kiara.
“It is easy for them to come here for a quickie without their spouses or girlfriends finding out,” added Ah Meng.
He said the majority of men who visited the centres wanted their money’s worth and that having only a massage was inadequate.
“That is why we have the B to B massage for only RM150,” he said, hoping the customers would become regulars.
Another massage centre operator known as Joe, revealed that his centre, also located within the vicinity of Desa Sri Hartamas, offered only sex.
“We do not entertain patrons who ask for foot or body massage. This because the rental is very high — between RM4,000 and RM10,000 — depending on the location. We have to make money.
“Many of the massage centres are located at the upper floors as it is more secluded,” said Joe.
He added that the masseuses are paid a salary and that the owner paid for their accommodation as well.
“The rich patrons are willing to pay top ringgit for the service.
“We normally get about 30 customers daily,’’ he said.
A nearby shop tenant, who wanted to be known as Ahmad, said it was a known fact that massage centres in the building offered sexual services.
“Although, I have not patronised the massage centres here, my customers tell me stories of their experiences there.
“I was told that as there are so many of them offering the services, the charges are also competitive but reasonable,’’ he said.
