KUCHING: In celebration of the holy Ramadan, property developer Naim Holdings Bhd has been organising a series of breaking-of-fast events across the state.
Its Miri branch recently held a buka puasa at Masjid Ar’Rayan in Permyjaya, where the company sponsored contributions to the mosque and six other nearby suraus, namely Surau Nurul Jamilun Subhi at Kampung Pujut Sungai Adong, Surau Sinar Islam (Kampung Pulau Melayu), Surau Darul Taqwa (Tudan Fasa 2), Surau Al-Jariah (Jalan Pujut 9), Surau Darul Iman (Tudan Fasa 2A) and Surau Al-Ummah (Tudan Fasa 4).
“It is always a busy time for Naim during the fasting month. Our staff have been organising various goodwill activities,” said a press release from the group.
Naim also hosted buka puasa events at Bintulu’s Masjid Al Taqwa, while here, the company distributed bubur asyura (rich and savoury rice porridge) at its Rock Commercial Centre office near Jalan Green.
“More than 10 staff members participated in the preparation and distribution of the delicacy to residents around the area,” Naim said.
