KUCHING: The Sarawak Bank Employees Union (SBEU) is against the likely merger of CIMB, RHB Capital Bank and the Malaysian Building Society Bhd (MBSB), saying the move was not in the interests of consumers and business.
“We believe the merger will be especially bad for small business as the move will reduce competition,” a SBEU statement said yesterday.
