Clubbers still have a lot to choose from in the suburbs

SELECTED highlights from Mid Valley and Asian Heritage Row and the KL Sentral area. With so much to choose from, there are many more options for electronic dance music fans in the Klang Valley.

MID VALLEY

Set to be the designated hub for KL’s style icons, music aficionados and nocturnal dreamers, VERTIGO presents taste and quality night life on the rooftop of The Gardens at Mid Valley City.

NERO is contemporary chic personified, where clubbers get to enjoy drinks at the bar that overlooks The Gardens’ pool, while VIPs get to embrace the party from an exclusive paddock, observing the rest of the party goers’ shake-up the featured LED dance floor.

Saturday: Bossy with DJ Reeve, DJ Silent and Mr Dan with crushing circular grooves. Admission (with one drink): RM30 ladies / RM40 men.

BIANCO showcases a hint of Hollywood glamour. It is also a midweek respite for the local corporate crowd, offering intimate exclusivity throughout the week. Weekends at Bianco will raise the bar as clubbers toast to the end of the work week with champagne, whilst enjoying open format dance sets by prominent acts gracing the decks.

Tuesday: 2gether 2uesday with DJ Monkey, DJ Voize and veteran hypeman, MC Terry T, bringing you genre bending, chart-toppers and dance floor anthems. Ladies enter free all night and get to bring two friends for free. Admission (with one drink): RM30 men.

Thursday: La Femmes with DJ Sutra and Viona - a night dedicated specially for the ladies – with uplifting sexy house music. Admission (with one drink): RM30. Ladies free entry all night and free flow before midnight.

Friday: Avant/Garde monthly tonight with Mr Nasty and Guruguru, with hard tinged electro for four hours. Admission (with one drink): RM30 ladies / RM40 men.

ASIAN HERITAGE ROW

Quinte is the new sonic temple of underground sounds with a happy collision of style over substance. The room melds Japanese kitsch, contemporary pop artistes and urban booths to create an aesthetic of sophisticated opulence. International DJs of the underground kind feature regularly during weekends. Music played tends to veer towards house, tech house, tribal and techno. Kuma and Alex Martin preside most nights, especially:
