MORE than 400 senior citizens and single mothers gathered at the Ole Ole Shopping Centre in Shah Alam recently, to demand that Pakatan Rakyat make good on the promises stated in their 2008 manifesto.
The demands during the protest included the RM2,500 in Takaful (insurance) for senior citizens and an allowance of RM100 per month for single mothers that are yet to materialise.
