A YOUNG Malaysian engineer is slowly making her mark in the engineering world. The latest feather in her cap is being named the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Delaware Valley Section’s 2015 Young Chemical Engineer of the Year on March 17.

In a recent email interview, Laura-Ann Chin, 27, shared that she had turned down a job offer from Apple in order to stick to her roots — chemical engineering — with a Fortune 500 company.
