RM28,000 collected in aid of neighbourhood’s Nepali guards and their families

A little help goes a long way: Tan (left) presenting cheques to the guards.

KINDNESS can come in the form of a nine-year-old girl, who requested that her friends give her money instead of presents for her birthday so that she could donate to those affected by the earthquake in Nepal.

The young girl later contributed the RM300 she received as birthday money to the total fund of more than RM28,000, which was raised by the residents of Duta Tropika in Dutamas for the families of their Nepalese security guards.
