KUCHING: A traffic awareness campaign codenamed Ops Roda will be carried out in schools by state traffic police to educate students on road safety and prevent accidents.

The operation, which starts next week, is being held in response to the rising number of accidents involving students aged seven to 18 years, according to state traffic officer-in-charge DSP Alexson Naga Chabu.
