Official appointment still preferred to local council elections

LOCAL council elections will happen but just not now, Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan said.

Abdul Rahman said he was not against the idea of local council elections but felt that the timing was not right.
