The Victoria’s Secret supermodel will again be a spokesperson for the popular make-up brand.
The Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima is to become a face of Maybelline New York after a five-year absence.
Lima was a global spokesperson for the American cosmetics company from 2003 to 2009 and joins a current roster of Maybelline faces that includes Christy Turlington, Emily DiDonato, Jourdan Dunn and Marloes Horst.
“We are honoured to welcome back Adriana to our amazing roster of spokespeople,” said Jerome Bruhat, global brand president of Maybelline New York.
“Globally, women admire not only Adriana’s beauty but also her commitment to helping those in need. We are honoured to partner with her again. Her passion for life and positive energy is undeniable.”
One of the Victoria’s Secret Angels, Lima is a global star with over 2.2 million Instagram followers and 5.5 million likes on her Facebook page. The 33-year-old model has covered Vogue magazine in Italy, Turkey, Spain and her native Brazil as well as appearing in campaigns and runway shows for top luxury houses including Prada and Givenchy.
“It’s wonderful to be a part of the Maybelline New York brand again,” said Adriana. “I am proud to say that I am a Maybelline girl, and I look forward to the work we will do together. The imagery is always beautiful and positive which is what I admire most about the brand.”
