All Grown Up: Star2 turns 30 and wants your voices to be heard

Star2 celebrates 30 years of lifestyle choices this month – and we couldn’t have done it without you. Here’s your chance to tell us and show us how we’ve been there for each other.

Over the last 30 years, many people have left a lasting mark in our Star2 pages and in our lives. Some of us have worked here for decades and we fondly reminisce about the good times, the bad days, and every time we find a cute photograph or story from our archives.

Have you been reading Star2 since you were in primary school? Worked with us at some point in your life? Were you ever an intern at Star2? Have you braved the sun and rain to get a copy of Star2 to check out Davin Arul’s movie reviews or June HL Wong’s music reviews? Did you contribute to Starchild when you were a kid?

We’re inviting all of you to leave us a note, a picture or a memento about your time with Star2, or how Star2 has made an impression on you. Just post your comments in the message section below, or email your pictures and images to star2@thestar.com.my and we'll post them here and in our Facebook photo album. We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

UPDATE: We received a bunch of old photographs from former Star journalist Nantha Kumar, who was with the Entertainment desk from 1994 to 2001, and here's what he wrote about these pictures of his ex-colleagues and lifelong friends: "Rather than leaving comments, I'd like to share these images with you. Those were really good years."
