A NEW housing development offering buyers a panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur is being developed by Chico Development Sdn Bhd in Desa Petaling, Kuala Lumpur.
Situated more than 250ft above sea level, the project started last September and is expected to be completed in January 2016.
The project, which has an approximate gross development value of RM580mil, is being sold at RM750 psf, with house prices ranging from RM3.08mil to RM5.6 mil.
A 12km drive from the city, the 162 units of three-storey semi-detached houses sit on an 18-acre land. The houses will be in a guarded community and feature built-up areas ranging from 4,092sq ft to 6,688sq ft.
The homes will feature a dry and wet kitchen, high ceilings, a basement carpark, a private home lift and a rainwater harvesting system.
Some the floor finishes include porcelain tiles for the dining and dry kitchen, and engineered timber for the upper floors and staircase.
Amenities nearby include a primary and secondary school, universities, Cempaka International School, shopping malls and healthcare providers such as Pantai Hospital Cheras.
“It’s highly accessible,” said Chico Development founder and partner Paul Poh, adding that apart from a view of the Kuala Lumpur cityscape, there is also a view of Genting Higlands.
“It’s very well-planned. We tried to make it modern and tropical,” Poh said.
He added that the company took into consideration people’s opinions prior to the development.
“We would like to encourage more people to live in this type of environment.
“Approximately 20% of our sales have been foreign buyers, consisting of Taiwanese, Singaporeans and Germans, among others,” he said during the Desa Hill Villas official launch in Desa Park recently.
