Open market important during uncertainty in global economy


Mustapa: ‘We have many challenges. Global trade is expected to grow less than 3 growth. Hence it is even more important now to have an open market.’

KUALA LUMPUR: Having an open market is important during times of uncertainty in the global economy, according to International Trade and Industry minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed.

He said it was also imperative to finalise the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) as soon as possible .
