Analysts: Astro coping well in economic downturn

PETALING JAYA: Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd has scored some big wins with the market after the pay-TV operator showed it can still attract new subcribers, especially the higher spending ones.

But the weak ringgit remained a lingering concern, while some analysts were cautious about the noticeable shift towards lower priced packages by existing subscribers.
