Zelan gets more time to resolve land issues

PETALING JAYA: Zelan Bhd said it will have another one year to resolve issues involving the Malay Reserve status of the land to be used for its Gombak Integrated Transport Terminal (GITT) project.

The engineering and construction firm told Bursa Malaysia in an announcement yesterday that its 95% owned subsidiary, Terminal Bersepadu Gombak Sdn Bhd (Tegas), had received a letter from Bahagian Pengurusan Hartanah, the Prime Minister’s Office, stating its agreement to extend the period for the fulfilment of conditions precedent in the concession agreement for 12 months from Sept 14, 2014 to Sept 13, 2015 in order for both parties to resolve the Malay Reserve status of the land.
