PETALING JAYA: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Jimah East Power Sdn Bhd, whereby the latter will design, construct, own, operate and maintain a proposed coal-fired electricity generating facility with a total nominal capacity of 2,000 MW in Port Dickson.

“This PPA was a result of the Track 3B competitive bidding organised by the Energy Commission to meet the generation requirements in Peninsular Malaysia at the most competitive rates,” TNB told Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
