Can billionaire Vincent Tan get a casino licence at Pahang resort?

PETALING JAYA: While Berjaya Corp Bhd (BCorp) founder Tan Sri Vincent Tan is hoping to be second-time lucky in his quest for a casino licence, industry observers believe the chances of him succeeding will be slim.

Analysts polled by StarBiz voiced consensus that the Government was unlikely to grant any new casino licence, given the existing socio-political climate in Malaysia.
